Calavera's popular Family photos

Spring Training just started!!!!! Amazing how baseball can bring out the inner child...although in my case, that's not far from the surface.
Technical details...I shoot with a Nikon D70, 18-70mm zoom, and a 60mm Nikkor macro Lens with extension tubes. Most post production is done in Photoshop Elements 6.0 with considerable use of plug-ins from Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0. I've always "dabbled" in photography, but over time, the cost and inconvenience of film processing wore me down. About 5 years ago, I made the jump to digital and I would have a difficult time going back to film...alarming to many purists, I assume. I've always enjoyed the pursuit of the shot...but now, I lose myself in the post production (Nik Color efex 3.0). This gives me the opportunity to transform a moment to something that approaches my basic sense of awe and wonderment at everything around us. I hope you enjoy the pictures and feel free to offer your comments/perspective...and, by all means, feel free to purchase any photo in the galleries.
Would love to hear from you...e-mail me at... reolsen@cox.net...Thanks...Bob Olsen
