Calavera > We came across this horse grazing in a meadow near a town in the Cotswold region of England. The light was just right.
Calavera > There was a fox running along the bank of the Thames at low tide that first caught my attention. When I looked at the picture years later, I was struck by the clouds and the diffused sunlight on the field in front of the estate.
Calavera > It was late evening and we were walking back to the train station in salisbury, England when we decided to follow this stream for awhile. The willow on the banks of the stream broke up what was left of the sunlight and it made for a pretty scene with the stonewall in the foreground.
Calavera > This was the same stream as the picture before but taken earlier in the afternoon at Salisbury. It's clear why this region attracted so many English painters like Turner and Constable.
Calavera > Late afternoon, winter is the best time to get some nice beach shots on Fire Island. The light is subdued, crowds are very light, and you never know what you might find washed up after a storm
Calavera > This river scene in Canterbury has an old-time feel to it with the rain beginning to move in.
Calavera > The house on the right is where my Grandmother, Nora Kelly was born in Portmagee, Ireland. There was a storm approaching as we began walking around this little fishing village on the southwest coast.
Calavera > More storms and fall colors along the bank of the Seine.
Calavera > Salisbury Catherdral. The scene could have been a water color.
