Lens and Brush...My Favorites : For sometime now, I've been trying to establish a theme or motif that seems to characterize my better (open to question, I suspect) photos. I revisited all of the comments that the smugmug community (particularly my friends on the Daily Photo community. If there was a dominant perspective, it might me that my photos tend to have a mood or atmosphere. I'll buy that, but I'll try and take it a step further...consciously or unconsciously, I seem to be drawn to scenes that are grounded in painting, so maybe I've blurred some boundaries...anyhow, this is a collection of shots that try to illustrate what I'm blabbering about...Did want to take this opportunity to everyone who has been kind enough to provide their feedback.

Abstract Photos : It's been some time since I updated this gallery with new pictures. A macro lens and extension tubes has opened new worlds so here are the new shots...hope you enjoy. These are shots where I just allowed my imagination to go wild with Photoshop and Nik Color Efx. A potentially frightening insight into how I see things.
