Every million shots or so, you can look at a shot (even after manipulation) and say to yourself..."Damn..I nailed it." This goes beyond favorites, it reflects a sense of having captured a moment in time the way tou first saw it. OK, pros may see a slightly better sucess ratio, but its a start. If I had a gallery of prints, these would be it.

Calavera > I liked the mood of this shot, but its special since the pink house on the right is where my grandmother was born in 1896...Portmagee, Ireleand.
Calavera > The Cotswold region in England is a photographers dream. This doorway with (billion) year old wysteria provided a very English momemt.
Calavera > Walking around Amsterdam at night (in the rain)...this window looked like a still life from an old Dutch Master...through no discernable set of skills, I managed to capture the light.
Calavera > We got to Sonoma (CA) before anything opened, so we spent some time walking around the town square...just happened to come across this alleyway with the sun streaming in. Made for a nice shot...I especially like the leaves on the tiles for some reason.
Calavera > Old Bethpage Village Restoration on Long Island, NY. I'd been living in CA for about 10 years before I ever got the chance to visit this slice of history not too far from where I grew up. Lucky enough to catch the sunset by this old barn.
Calavera > First night in London...after an evening of bookstores on Charing Cross Road...we came upon this window display...I'm thinkin' "red balloons?" OK give it a shot.
Calavera > Stowe on Mtn. Window with Books
Calavera > Dublin Tattoo parlor..loved the play on words
Calavera > Burano Italy...a tiny island off Venice with just wonderful, brightly colored houses...we were lucky to be here in the rain when the colors just jumped out at you.
I liked the mood of this shot, but its special since the pink house on the right is where my grandmother was born in 1896...Portmagee, Ireleand.
