To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.

Calavera > The last of our roses before pruning...sorry too much time revisiting the cold of NYC...I had to get back to sunny CA
Calavera > Back after a 16 hour odyssey to home... My Brother was so excited to learn that he reached # 16 on my all time favorites...that he agreed to pose for this shot...looks like a # 1 with abullet...right?
Calavera > This is my friend Pete...we played together for a summer at a pub on Long Island many years ago. We had a chance to play again after about 32 years...much fun although I ended up with blisters on fingers...first time ever!
Calavera > It can get crazed when you're getting ready for the holidays. So...I wanted to post a holiday greeting to my friends in the Daily Photo community. I have to say that I've really come to appreciate the give and take I see on this site each day. It's a given that your comments are helping me grow as a photographer and to recognize talent in others when I see it...Wishing you and your families all the best in this holiday season and the coming New Year. Also, while I won't have access to my photos for awhile, I'll be ready to participate in the St. Jude Project very soon...I beg your patience...Thanks again, Bob Olsen (Calavera)...BTW, this is a shot of a small tree placed in the rocks at Montauk Point on the south fork of Long Island.
Calavera > Blast from the past...ceiling at York Cathedral...perhaps the most stunning of all English cathedrals?
Calavera > My first take on this scene was that the rounded doors with the wreaths had the appearance of a skull...too many grade Z monster movies when I was a kid.
Calavera > This is a detail of the Town fountain in the Circle of orange, CA. You can see the bottom of a Santa display in the center.
