To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.

Calavera > I got carried away with a B&W conversion on this shot of my Dad...tomorrow is the 4th anniversary of my Mom's passing and I know he misses her a lot.
Calavera > I'm constantly drawn to this figure at a church in Oakdale NY...the scene keeps getting more weathered.

Calavera > It's been difficult to post to the Dailies on a routine basis as I've had to spend (much) time getting ready for my first solo show in the City of Orange (if you are so inclined, the pix in the exhibit are shown in a featured gallery)...In addition, I just started a consulting position in my old insurance field (hey it's a recession, the work is very interesting and will Hopefu;;y, lead to some improvements in photo equipment.
Regretfully, I won't be especially diligent in posting to the Dailies each day...I will try and batch some postings each week and will attempt to offer comments as time permits... Thanks for all your input and I look forward to the time when I can be a regular contributer to the dailies.
Calavera > It's hard to describe this place near the junction of the eastern end of Sunrise Hwy amd Mountauk Hwy on Long Island...they simply have EVERYTHING on the face of the earth here. I had a momentary pang of guilt in leaving my Dad in the car, while I went beserk shooting this photographer's Nirvana
Calavera > Every time I get back East, I feel like I need to shoot this headstone at church yard in Oakdale...it seems to be little more weathered and sad
Calavera > McGuinn and his trademark 12-string Rickenbacker
Calavera > Spent the last 10 days back east at my Dad's house (chores and spring cleaning). Did manage to break away with my brother to see my idol, Roger McGuinn (Byrds) in concert...here's a fewshots. I am obligated to mention my "Patron" who loaned me his telephoto lens for the concert...So...thanks Gene (some of you might remember him as "Bubble Boy" from an earlier Daily submission
Calavera > McGuinn on banjo playing "Old Blue"
