It's been some time since I updated this gallery. In the interim, I've begun to develop my skills with macro shots of flowers and experimenting with light. The colors and shapes never cease to amaze me.
My brain refused to work today. Seemed like every attempt at a picture just fell flat. Then I found out I had 5 pictures accepted for publication in "Life Images" magazine for their spring issue...the adrenalin churned out this sucker. While I was playing with Filters in PS Element (6.0), I realized I could flip this flower image and then apply the Polar Coordinates filter...the end result is either something from "Alien", Fireworks, A Fountain, or some fingerpainting my son did when he was about 5 yrs old.
